Susan Fellerhoff
Susan Fellerhoff loves designing “one of a kind” jewelry pieces that are the signature of her work. She uses a combination of mixed metals, semi-precious stones, colorful Czech glass, recycled glass, and clay, in addition to other materials in her designs. The colors and textures interplay to give a unique, and chic look to her jewelry. She offers a large variety of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, cuffs and more.
Originally from Peoria, Illinois, Susan’s first trip to Bozeman was in 1959. She had her 4th birthday in Yellowstone and the Tetons. Her family camped regularly in the Rocky Mountain West. She learned to love the mountains and returned to Bozeman for college at Montana State University.
After graduation, a job offer took Susan and husband, Randy, to Peoria, for 45 years. They returned to Bozeman in January of 2021 for retirement. Susan learned about the Artist’s Gallery, applied and was accepted.
Susan says “I have always been a creative person. In 2011, I bought some tools and took a jewelry class. I ran with it and quickly knew this was “it!” “Fellerings” was born. In describing her jewelry, she says “This is my passion and I laughingly say that I am ‘happily obsessed.’ The ideas just pop into my head and I create them. I am always evolving and trying new things. I am honored to be part of the Artists Gallery and the vibrant art community in Bozeman.”
