Carmen Stanislao
Carmen was born in Kansas in the rural town of Winfield. At a very early age she naturally developed a real love for art. She moved to Bozeman Montana in 1978 where she continued her desire for the art world.
Working with wax, bronze and color really has been most intriguing while giving her great enjoyment. It’s combinations of texture, pliability and the patina seem to provide the versatility she wants in her designs.
Carmen’s best tools are her eyes and hands. She says this naturally limits the quantity of the work she can produce but increases of the work. This also allows her to concentrate on the quality of each piece and gives full expression of herself.
Carmen’s very thankful for God’s gifts, this great country and it’s wonderful people that give her the opportunity to pursue her dreams.
