Carmen Stanislao ~ Bronze Sculptures
Carmen was born in Kansas in the rural town of Winfield. At a very early age, she naturally developed a real love for art. She moved to Bozeman, Montana, in 1978, where she continued to pursue her interest in the art world.
Working with wax, bronze, and color has been most intriguing and has given her great enjoyment. It’s a combination of texture, pliability, and the patina that seems to provide the versatility she wants in her designs.
Carmen’s best tools are her eyes and hands. She says this naturally limits the quantity of the work she can produce but increases the quality of the work. This also allows her to concentrate on the quality of each piece and to express herself fully.
Carmen’s very thankful for God’s gifts, this great country, and its wonderful people who give her the opportunity to pursue her dreams.
