“First, it is an intention, then a habit, then a practice, then a second nature, then it is simply who you are.” -Dokeshi No Michi
I still have the first thing I ever made out of clay.
I am a handbuilder and I am inspired by seeing a slab of clay turn into a beautiful, creative piece of art. I use sprig mold motifs, textures, stamps, transfers and details with my work.
I strive to make pots that are visually interesting and connect the viewer to my passion for ceramics.
Life as a potter is a gift and I continue to grow each day with my bag of clay.
